The Fundamental Essence Of Human Existence Is To Hold The Hand Of One Another In Times Of Need. This Notion Rang Deep In The Minds Of Some Parents In A Neighborhood Of Sandpit In Buea Sub Division South West Region Of Cameroon. These Parents Seeing The Precarious Situation Of The IDPs From Various Affected Parts Of Cameroon In Their Vicinity Helpless, Children Abandoned In Certain Homes , Some Parents Dead And Others Wounded Decided To Group As Solidarity Parents To Assist These Down Trodden Due To No Fault Of Theirs.. An Initiative Was Then Initiated By On Parent to Transform the Gestures to an Association Called Solidarity Parents Assisting Those in Need (Sopastin)

  1. Provide Essential Support: Offer financial, emotional, and practical support to parents and families in need, ensuring they have access to basic necessities and resources.
  2. Promote Education: Facilitate educational opportunities for parents and children, including tutoring, scholarships, and parental education programs.
  3. Foster Community: Build a strong, supportive community among parents through regular meetings, events, and mutual aid networks.
  4. Advocate for Policy Change: Engage in advocacy efforts to influence policies that impact families in need, focusing on issues such as healthcare, housing, and employment.
  5. Empower Families: Equip parents with the tools and resources they need to become self-sufficient and resilient, fostering long-term stability and growth.
