Assisting Those in Need

The Fundamental Essence Of Human Existence Is To Hold The Hand Of One Another In Times Of Need. This Notion Rang Deep In The Minds Of Some Parents In A Neighborhood Of Sandpit In Buea Sub Division South West Region Of Cameroon. These Parents Seeing The Precarious Situation Of The IDPs From Various Affected Parts Of Cameroon In Their Vicinity Helpless, Children Abandoned In Certain Homes , Some Parents Dead And Others Wounded Decided To Group As Solidarity Parents To Assist These Down Trodden Due To No Fault Of Theirs.. An Initiative Was Then Initiated By On Parent to Transform the Gestures to an Association Called Solidarity Parents Assisting Those in Need (Sopastin)

How We Reach Out To The Needy

Emergency Assistance

SOPASTIN provides immediate support to families facing crises such as homelessness, domestic violence, or sudden financial hardship. This includes temporary shelter, food assistance, and emergency financial aid.

Resource Provision

We connect families with essential resources such as clothing, school supplies, and household goods. Our goal is to alleviate the burden of basic needs so families can focus on long-term stability.

Educational Support

SOPASTIN offers tutoring, mentoring, and educational workshops to ensure that children and parents have the tools they need for academic and personal success.

Mental Health Services

We recognize the importance of mental well-being and provide access to counseling and support groups. Our trained professionals offer a safe space for parents and children to express their feelings and find constructive solutions.

Advocacy and Awareness
